July 11, 2008  My World Wide Traveling and scuba buddies. Gail & Dave. Dave Venanzi July 19, 1959 - July 11, 2008 My Friend Dave, was diagnosed with Stage IIIb Bone Marrow Cancer, Multiple Myeloma, in Feb 2001. We were told he would likely survive another year to three years.   He live 7 1/2 years more.   Dave coded on Thursday morning and he was resituated. He did not regain consciousness. He had been put on life support and had pneumonia and a temperature of a 107. Friday surrounded by over a dozen friends, Gail had the life support removed from Dave. Within moments Dave's heart beat slowed to O and he passed away. Dave is a "one of a kind" guy. Always full of life and passion. He and Gail and my husband and I have traveled to Indonesia, Fiji, Bali, Irian Jaya, Komoda and Solomon Islands together. World travelers, Fellow photographers and Aviculturist and most of all best friends.   Dave will be missed and loved from the bottom of our hearts for the rest of our lives.

We now specialize in Hyacinth and Red Fronted Macaws. We also still raise a few of our favorite Amazons and Blue & Golds. Our babies are beautiful, sweet and healthy. We have been breeding birds since 1980. We ship throughout the United States to loving pet owners. At Blackstone Aviaries all of our babies are incubator hatched and hand-fed from day one.
